If you asked me what inspired me to write this article, it would be what I accidentally did and received a new career opportunity presented to me in the middle of the pandemic (a time where many fear of changes in life).
At first, without thinking of the concept of the law of attraction (LOA), I was pretty much prepared for the new opportunity to come my way. I should mention that I practice LOA like a religion.
I wrote a resignation letter before I even had the first interview. If you asked me if I was actively applying for jobs, I would be lying if I said yes because my job is pretty secure and I very much still enjoyed it. I wrote my resignation letter at that moment because I thought to myself “why not”. After the letter was written, it was followed by the timeline below:
The timeline of everything that happened:
- Note: I was registered with a recruitment company after graduation.
- I wrote the resignation letter
- A couple of days later I was contacted by the company with an opportunity
- I had my first interview 5 days after (including a weekend)
- I had my second interview the week after (a week after the first interview)
- I had my offer the day after the second interview
If this isn’t called being ready to receive when I am ready to accept then I don’t know what is.
When speaking of angel numbers, tarot, and spiritual shit, I am no stranger to the concept. My ideal shopping spree would be to shop for books related to the multidimensional world, reading birth charts, and crystals. I always had an interest in knowing where my soul began and what journey would help fulfil it.
Acting as if
Although the word itself is very self-explanatory, for the benefit of those who don’t know, acting as if is acting as if you’ve already achieved that goal. Pretend you know everything you need to know once you have achieved that goal. Do everything AS IF you are stepping into the person who has already achieved that goal.
Journaling Prompt:

- If you have achieved that goal, how would you feel?
- If you have achieved that goal, what would you wear?
- If you have achieved that goal, what would you do?
- If you have achieved that goal, how would you make decisions?
- If you have achieved that goal, how would you take care of yourself?

Scripting
Scripting is writing your thoughts into reality. Write down your feelings and thoughts in a journal entry with the idea that you already received what you have manifested. Describe everything in your life like how you are feeling after you’ve manifested all your goals into reality, how are you celebrating it, who is with you, what are you doing, what are your routines, etc. The questions I shared are just examples, but of course, feel free to dive into your thoughts and feelings.
Suggestion:
A mediation to visualise your dream life before you start may help, this can help you imagine the picture, gather your thoughts, and then start scripting.
Angel Numbers
Angel numbers in simple terms are the signs you see when the angels above are trying to communicate with you. I was seeing 111, 222, 444, and 333 like there is no tomorrow. After Googling what it all means, it really aligned with the future that I wanted for myself and the things that are happening in my life in order for me to transition from where I am now to the future that I desire to have. In my case, it is the situation of having the job presented to me, interviewing and having the job offered to me.
Everything Happen FOR You
Sometimes things may not go as planned but there is always a reason for that. Try to understand and accept the situation, perhaps things might work out for the better if it didn’t go as you expected. I have always thought that when things don’t go as I wanted, the angels have better plans for me and I am yet to discover what it is.
This is not to say that with the LOA, you don’t have to do any work. You do. In case, you have to really believe in it so much that it has to become a reality for you. You would do whatever it takes to make it happen and if anything gets in the way, the universe is redirecting you because the universe has something better in store for you.
